Formation Report #3 - Buffalo Pound Lake, Saskatchewan
Unusual "doubled-lobed pathway" in prairie grass, approximately 55 metres (180 feet) long. Found on August 20. Grass is flattened laterally across the long, continuous closed pathway. Investigation is still on-going by CCCRN Saskatchewan. Initial details, aerial and ground photos and diagrams are now posted (larger photos on web site). This is the third reported formation for 2006. Further details pending.
Update - Schomberg, Ontario Formation
Additional aerial and ground photos and an updated diagram have now been posted (larger photos on web site). The geometry is very irregular when seen from the air.
