STRANGE CRAFT PHOTOGRAPHED OVER MERCEDES, ARGENTINA

A cycling track in the municipal park of Mercedes, near Buenos Aires, was the setting Saturday, Dec 3, for a ufo sighting.

One of the witnesses took this picture of an unknown object when it appeared in the sky during dusk, near the Argentinian capital.

According to the photographer, this strange craft appeared to have some kind of composition to its structure and emitted a [reflective?] brightness much like manufactured alloy.

The object was observed hanging stationary in the sky for a moment before it soon moved away towards the south.

Curiously enough, the location of the witnesses was the same park where, in 1999, a perfectly formed circle nine meters in diameter appeared mysteriously in grass.

The incident was investigated at the time by GIFAD (Grupo Investigador de Fenómenos Aeroespaciales Desconocidos), who reported the grass grew green again and was visible for six months after.

Just one kilometer, the Mercedes Aero Club discovered a similar circle close to one of the hangars in 1993. A witness then described seeing something strange, in the form of "a luminosity the height of the hangar".

GIFAD has so far recorded 150 UFO cases within Mercedes and regards the municipal park area as being in a zone of greater activity.

In the neighboring city of Navarro there were almost 100 such circular tracks discovered near the river, in 1992. A witness at the time claimed to have seen eight objects in a field.
