GOLDEN FLAME UFO APPEARS OVER ENGLISH CITY

Puzzled professional John Clamp, 25, felt compelled to contact The Sun for answers after we sensationally reported last week that a UFO threatened a police chopper in the sky above nearby Cardiff.

John, who lives in Montpelier, Bristol, said: "I read the article in The Sun over the weekend. I have seen a UFO above us repeatedly.

"It appears like a brilliant golden flame inside a crystal square behind our back garden then floats slowly to the east and out of sight, lasting for about ten minutes."

John said he had seen the UFO darting around the sky on two separate occasions - once in January and again on April 10 at 9pm.

He explained: "Each time it reappeared about three times in the space of an hour, and then did the same thing."

John took the footage on his mobile phone from an upstairs window while he was revising for an exam.

He moves the camera phone to show the moon and the wall by the window to put the object in context.

The financial planner said: "I moved the camera to show the moon to compare the size of the UFO and the wall by the window to show that the camera is now still so you can see that the UFO is actually moving across the sky."

He added: "It was just hanging there for quite a while. I called my sister and family. They were all quite dumbfounded by it.

"We were trying to think what it could possibly be. It is completely bizarre."

UFO expert and chairman of the London UFO Studies (LUFOS) Roy Lake was excited about the sighting.

He said: "In my mind this man knows what he's talking about.

"It's definitely not an aircraft. It's something that shouldn't be there."
