A couple from Daya Vieja are convinced that there is something out there, after they and several other witnesses saw an unexplained bright light fly through the night’s sky two weeks ago. The UFO sighting was spotted on Monday 4th August by a man on his solarium in the small village of Daya Vieja. Ray Stevens, originally from Rugby, noted the time and watched as the ‘pure bright light’ came across the sky towards him, then made a sharp left and continued towards the coast line before disappearing suddenly, down towards the ground.
Strange
That evening, unbeknown to Ray or Gill, their neighbours had been spending a quiet evening with friends at a local bar, when they too noticed this bright light and commented on how unusual it had been. They thought nothing of it until the next day when Ray commented to them about the strange light that he had also seen. They compared times and details and it transpired that they all must have seen the very same inexplicable bright light. It is important to say that at this stage most of the witnesses had not consumed any alcohol and were extremely coherent!
Unusual
Gill and Ray told RTN; “We have tried to think of every explanation that we can to figure out what this was. There is just no explanation. It was a UFO.” The couple continued; “There was no noise at all, so if it had been a plane or a helicopter, we would have heard it. It couldn’t have been fireworks because they come from the earth up, instead of from the sky down.” Neighbours Liz and Mike Livingston, from Tamworth, were holidaying next door at the time. They said; “We
were sat with some friends at the local Raquel’s Bar and we turned round to see a really bright light in the sky. We all commented on how bright and unusual it was. It came towards us in the sky and then it was gone.” Liz commented; “I thought nothing more of it. It was only when we saw Ray the next day and he asked me, that I remembered what I saw.” She added; “I had only just arrived at the bar, so I hadn’t had much to drink.” Liz concluded; “In all honesty, I’d have forgotten about it if I hadn’t spoken to Ray.” The couple returned to the UK last week after an eventful holiday.
