A Red Glowing Spherical Object Hovering

When I was 15 years old, I worked at Aurora Lake Park at that time, some of the other guys who I worked with took two cars and drove to the dam area where the lake had a spillway. The road stops there, so we got out of the car and where just relaxing and having a cigarette when I noticed a red glowing spherical object hovering about 25 feet above the spillway. It was about 15 to 20 feet in diameter. It was totally silent. It glowed an orangish red. I looked closely before telling anyone what a was seeing so I could find if a rope or wire could be attached but I saw nothing. It hovered over an area of moving water coming from the dam. There was no way it could be artificially in place. When I said, "What's that?" and pointed up, everyone freaked out and got in their cars and left. It's been 42 years and nobody ever has spoke about this incident. at that time, the area in the back of Aurora lake was roughly 1200 acres of forest and swamp. Today there are housing projects surrounding the property. The memory is still vivid today.
Witness Watches UFO And Thought It Was Landing

It was dark out in Forest Grove (that's were my house was) and I saw this object come over the mountain with really intense red, orange and white lights. I opened my window and watched it for a while to make sure it was real. I could not hear a sound and it was getting really close to my house and it looked like it was going to land in my back yard. So I went to my back door and it was about 50 feet above my lawn. I was ready to close my door and run and hide, but then all of a sudden took off and went west towards Green Lake at what looked like 1000 miles an hour and I heard not a sound.
The next day I went and got the paper as soon as I got out of bed and in the paper I saw this article about a man that saw the exact same UFO as I did! So for the last about 28 years I have kept that article and I have tried to learn more about what happened that night and get more information. But I have not got anywhere. So I was hoping you could help me find some more information about it because you know tons about UFOs and are a well educated man. The one thing that could possibly help you, is that the article came from the news paper called ''100 Mile Free Press'' and it might have been called something like, UFO sighted at Green Lake. But that's not for sure. I will be wishing and hoping for a reply because I just think that UFOs are amazing and I really would appreciate it.
An Orange Object/UFO Descending

While floating on air mattress in pool I spotted a small dot in the sky. It started getting larger and coming straight down. I called out to my wife to come watch it. She didn't hear me so I got out of pool and found her. When we got to the pool side the thing was still coming down. We watched it a while until it stopped and just hung there for a time. Then it went south toward Offit Air Force Base. I would guess it was about 2000 feet in the air was about 30 feet around. No sound and moved slow. We thought a balloon, but wasn't bothered by wind. We lost sight of it and kind of forgot about it.
4 Objects Traveling In A Diamond Shape

I was out in Joshua Tree National Monument with friends. Around midnight, just inside the West Entrance to the park in an area called, "Hidden Valley Campground", I saw what I at first thought to be 4 satellites in perfect, diamond configured orbit. It seemed unlikely, but they were extremely high up, silent and moving very slowly. Then, they stopped moving altogether, with two of the "lights" spiraling out and then rejoining the formation. Then all 4 objects sped out in opposite directions, disappearing almost immediately.
Unfortunately I was alone at the time, and my reporting of the event to my friends resulted in so much laughter I dropped it, and would have let it go forever had my brother not insisted today I scour the web for info (I only just told him about it recently). After stumbling on a very similar account in your pages, I figured I'd pipe up.
UFO With Projections

I was sitting in a hot tub in my back yard and looking at the stars to the east. It was a very clear old night. The stars started to blink out which caught my attention, so I stared. As it got closer I could see the outline of something coming down toward me. I thought space debris. But realized it was moving too slow. Very slowly as it glided over a very tall Maple tree and slowly glided over the roof of my house, and over me.
It was about 50 feet above me, no sound, gun metal blue in color with no rivets or seams. The edges were a lighter grey blue as though worn from great heat. The center rotated while the outer shell remained stationary. It had short finger like projections which formed the bottom of the shell. It was very hollow, seemed to narrow for a person to be within it. It glided over my home and then rose slowly and disappeared over the tree-line. I called the State Police as it was heading in that direction. They had no reports from others seeing it. I also called the Air Guard at Westhampton the next day and asked about it, but they said they didn't see it on radar.
A Large Black Disc Hovering

I slowly became aware of a steady helicopter-like sound outside of my window. It seemed odd, I just ignored it (I did not want to do anything that evening except to sit on my bed and read!). The sound was persistent, however, and it seemed like it was almost trying to catch my attention, as the sound was consistent and did not move. It was weird. I finally caved and went to my window, I drew the curtains back and looked out.
What I saw was a large black disc, hovering between my house and my neighbors' house, right above the roof (s) line. I could see it clearly through the branches of the tree. In retrospect, it had the colour quality of L.E.D lights on a black-colored stereo system turned on at night.
From my perspective, I looked up at it and could see three lights placed in a triangular position on the bottom of the vehicle. As I kept looking at it, it hovered (I don't remember hearing the sound at this point). It then calmly flew over the roof and out of my vision. I would say that it was moving South - East.

I did not mention that the lights on the craft where bright but muted. It did not seem to emit a blinding radiation, as say a car's headlights would.
Metallic Colored Diamond Shaped UFO

Some people were spending the afternoon at a friends home at Christina Lake, they were all outside when one the people noticed an unusual shape which was flying low and slowly in the sky. He then pointed out the object to the rest of his friends. The object, at times seemed to stop and sat stationary for a brief few seconds and then started it's slow moment towards the south. The object may have been 30 feet wide and rotated and would also reflect the sun light off of it with every rotation. The witness said it appeared to be diamond in shape with one end being dark in color and the rest of the craft was a mirrored or metallic in color. Not a sound was noticed coming from the object. They all watched the object for approx: 3 minutes before loosing sight of whatever it was.
A Spherical Object - Two Boomerang UFOs

While out shoveling my driveway, I look up to watch a helicopter fly by and that is when I noticed the lights. There was a bright white orb of light and about equal distant out from the object were two fainter bluish boom-a-rang shaped objects, one of which was weaving back and forth like a kite. The three were in a triangular formation. After seeing this I went in the house and got my wife and kids and there friends and my camera. When I got back out side the objects were still visible but much higher in sky. One of the three photos turned out alright but you can't see the shape of the blue object from the photo. After a few minutes the blue objects faded from view then the white light about a minute or so later. These object were much higher than the jets flying nearby that were leaving contrails, while these object left nothing behind them. Contact me if you would like the photo. It is a digital photo taken with a Kodak digital camera, zoomed to the highest non digital zoom setting. The whole event lasted about 5 minutes.
Another Witness To Meteor Sighting

I would just like to say that I also saw the comet/meteor reported from Battersea. Exactly as described, a large glowing centre with a long tail, heading SSE. I live in Windsor and have never seen an object this large.
Two Unidentified Flying Objects

I live in Simi Valley CA, and it was around 1:00 am 2/12/08, when I was pulling into our drive way with my husband in the car, when he noticed two unidentified objects in the sky. We had seen a similar one when we went camping approx. 6 months ago, but this time there were two. These objects move very fast from left to right, up & down and change colors (white, red, green, and blue), and they were moving towards our direction. When we first saw these objects, they were very high in altitude, and as we kept watching them, they dropped. This was very creepy and as I am typing away, we can still see these objects.
Meteor Sighting

I just wanted to share with you a meteor sighting I witnessed earlier this morning. I was on my way to work and at approximately 6:00a.m. I had arrived in Grafton, Ontario. I noticed something out of the corner of my eye and turned to see what it was. It was a well detailed meteor. I have seen many shooting stars, but never have I seen something quite like this. It moved slower than I would have imagined and seemed to stay in the sky forever. I will describe it as best as I can. It had a black center, surrounding the center was a blue circle that tailed off into a bluish green tail and then towards the end, greenish yellow. I was amazed at the colour and detail, it seemed so close. If I were to take a guess as to where it landed, I would have to say, maybe,1-2 kms out in Lake Ontario.
Looked Like Two Blood Red Objects Stuck Together

I was observing the stars out my back patio window when this blood red object flew into sight. All I can say it looked like two great big red light bulbs stuck together and the lights took turns as they pulsed back and forth. As object got further away they started flashing and I could see a hint of white light on the back of this object. I watched it for about five minutes, it was fairly high up. No clouds tonight so it was easy to see. It came from the western sky and wasn't in any hurry. It was going slow and flew in an easterly direction. I will add there is a lot of traffic in the sky tonight, lots of planes so this didn't compare to a plane as it looked completely different and looked larger. Strange lights keep appearing but it's fascinating watching these weird objects.
2 Circular Lights Above The Evergreen Trees

Driving my 15 year old home. We notice 2 circular lights above the evergreen trees. Neither one of us said anything. We assume it was a plane from Boeing/air force making nighttime maneuvers. We continue on Larson Rd., go up the hill past the cement mixer place. In the middle of the hill I said to my 15 year old. Look at those lights, their kind of weird. She says, yah I know. I noticed them down by the church. But, didn't say anything. I open my screen on the sunroof. Drive very slowly, still looking up at the lights that are now between 150-200 feet above us. It is hovering, it is moving only slightly. It moves a bit forward, but glides it's way back over our car. We are now at the top of Larson Hill and we stopped. No other cars and it was a clear night. My 15 year old says, "mom, it has no wings". I respond, " uh yah, I know", still looking for an explanation; i.e. airplane, helicopter, etc. The lights move and we begin to move 1-2- mph on Happy Valley Rd. The lights cross a pasture heading southeast. I say, "I want to hear the engine" try to recognize the sound. I say, it's silent. No sound, nothing, not a whirr or a hum, just silent as it moves.
As we watch it move slowly at first and before we could say another word, it sailed up and south into the stars. It's 2 lights become one light within maybe 2 seconds. It looks just as small as a star in the sky and then it is gone. At that moment, I turn to my 15 year old and say, "I think it was a UFO". She says, "Yah! Coo!!" I then tell her that no one will believe us and we cant talk about it because people will think we are crazy, but we know what we both saw and will remember it for the rest of our lives and we hope to see it again.
Bizarre Light/Object Makes Erratic Maneuvers

I was having a smoke in my front yard, looking at the stars as I often do. I noticed an amber light moving rather fast at a seemingly high altitude. The light came to a dead stop, went straight up, then straight down a bit. I continued to observe the light for maybe 2 minutes before grabbing my camera. I took a 20 minutes film of this light doing things unexplainable to me or several friends and family I shared it with. The light would seem to multiply into several white, bluish, and reddish orbs. It would change directions almost faster than the eye can follow, and return to one visible light briefly before erratically moving around a centralized location in the sky. I thought some of the movement was me shaking the camera at first, but I filmed a plane flying in the viewfinder by the strange light, and its blinking lights were perfectly stable. Several times in the video the lights appear to fly in tight circles, it really looks UFO-ish.
10 Sphere Like Objects At Low Altitude (Approx: 500 Feet)

It was Valentines Day and my boyfriend and I went on a hill where you can look over the whole Antelope alley, when we noticed a very, very bright light. It was so bright that it could not have been a star or plane. The light kept getting brighter and brighter for about 5 minutes and then it dimmed very fast, but you could still see where it was. Maybe 2 minutes later a second bright light appeared next to the first one and then the first light got even brighter than it was before. They were both getting brighter and bigger as if they were coming closer to our car. I wanted to leave right away. We started to drive the opposite direction of the lights and saw one more bright light and then it also dimmed to where you could barely see its location. I looked behind me to see if I could see the other 2 original lights and they were gone.
We were driving closer to town and I started to notice that there was alot of red, white, and blue lights flickering next to each other. When I paid more attention to it I noticed at least 7 different objects had their own pattern that consisted of a flickering red light on the right hand side, white light in the middle, then blue light on the left side, then the white light in the middle made a light that made an x. I started to freak out once I noticed how many objects were making the same pattern, but the weirdest part is that one of the objects were flying maybe not even 500 feet above us and I could see the lights so clearly but I couldn't see the shape around the lights no matter how hard I tried. I went to bed that night not being able to comprehend what I just saw.
20 To 30 Unknown Objects

My husband was outside on the deck, as he looked up he saw what he believed at the time to be bright stars. Then as he was thinking how bright these stars were, they appeared closer and closer and were moving. He described them as bright orange glowing birdlike objects. He actually said they looked like glowing seagulls (that they looked like orange glowing balls with what looked like wings on both sides of them giving them a birdlike appearance) There were about 20-30 of them hovering low around the tree lines above our home. They started moving in circles not all in the same direction and then vanished into thin air.
Triangular Craft Comes Out Of The Water

We had pulled over to check the trailer hitch. We are next to the shore about 1/2 kilometer south of the ferry in Englishtown, the east side of Kelly's Mountain. Out of the water about one kilometer away came a large triangle shape. It had a bluish glow but not very bright. It hovered above the water for 5 - 10 seconds and then went straight up. We are now looking up at it. Its about 3,000 feet in the air and we figure its about 200 feet long and about 75 feet wide. Two more just like it came out of the water in the same area and did the same thing as the first. We are now looking at 3 UFO(s) in the sky. The started going higher almost straight up then it looked like they became one or were very close together. It started to go north and started to look like a star in the sky. It got somewhat brighter and it disappeared in the sky and we figure it was about 80 miles or so north of us within 1 minute then vanished.
