A Hovering UFO

Amazing what is found on the web. Summer/Autumn 1976-1975? Regina Saskatchewan Canada Wascanna Park Nature Preservative. The time dark-exact time ? Myself and 3 friends, all in grade 7 at the time were constructing a shelter out of tree branches for a hangout. There were no drugs and no alcohol. We could not distinguish the shape, but it was only one hovering for a brief while and no loud audibles. There were lights and light rotating on craft (can't remember which direction) As we approached it took off very fast at a 30 40 degrees above ground heading north. The distance was approximately 700-1000 yards. I called radar/traffic control airport Regina, Saskatchewan but received no acknowledging information. Guess what, when it took off, it was traveling towards east-Manitoba. If you would, tell who ever reported the 1976 Rural Municipality of Rockwood, Manitoba event. I suffered from panic attacks as well, however, mine occurred while I was awake.

UFO Overtop Of Eyewitnesses

Hi, I'd like to report a "something" that was in the sky over Port Alberni, British Columbia about eight years back. I didn't know who to talk to about it. It was about 11:00 o'clock at night when my neighbors and I saw a bright twinkling star moving towards us. It was really bright and dark out. I thought it was a star but it was moving. The light got over us then it shined a set of headlights, like a car on to something. It was quiet and blinked right out and was gone. Everybody at Sprout Lake saw it and were talking about it. It looked like a bright star and it was really bright and quiet, no noise.

Daylight Sighting Of An Unusual UFO
Mt. Peter Warwick, New York

I went up to Mt. Peter with my boyfriend, at the time, and we were just about to have a smoke. Just as we struck a match, a light appeared before us in the sky. Since it was summer it was still quite light out, the sky was a bright blue. Just above us in front of the car a light appeared, the brightest thing I'd ever seen, like a star or mini sun. The object was also pulsing on and off. I said "Do you see that" to my boyfriend. He answered "Yes". I asked "What is it", he replied" I don't know". I repeated the question and he repeated the same answer. For several minutes the object was pulsing on and off, from a large sphere of light to completely disappeared, or like a pinpoint? Then the object moved in a perfect diagonal trajectory, continuing to pulse as it did so. It then remained in the same location and pulsed on and off becoming smaller and smaller as it did so, until it finally disappeared.

I moved to about a mile from the incident, some decade or so later, and despite a separation and almost divorce, I remain married and living in the same location till today. UFO Follows Car Then Shoots Upward

It was a dark night no moon and no cloud. I love looking at the stars as I drive, after driving on the same highway a million times it gets boring so a look around. In my side window I saw a green glow on the window and at first I thought it was a reflection or something, but what I saw was weird. I still cannot wrap my head around it. I yelled at my wife look and she turned and basically did the same as me, nothing just sat with our mouth open. What ever it was, was flying aside us maybe 200 feet up or so. The only thing visible was a goldish green flame like a blow torch tip pushing the rear as it passed us and angled upward. I realized it couldn't be a meteor, meteors don't go up and what it did now rules out a military jet. Like in the movies it seemed to explode, but it shot in that same upward angle up and gone in a 100th of a second and all that was left was a slight line in my visual memory like on a sci fi movie. It just went poof and was gone. It made absolutely no noise except a few seconds after it disappeared out of the atmosphere, I heard a "pop" like a firecracker way off in the distance. Me and my wife still argue as to exactly what we saw and what it was. But the one thing we agree on, was it happened.

Light Orbs

The "Light Orbs" are back in the sky's here. I have had two sightings. The first one was last week. I saw a bright flash where the Big Dipper is, and then it flashed again, the orb was heading south toward Kelowna. A few days later I watched two orbs heading south, one after the other. One "turned on" . They do look like satellites, and I have to be careful that I don't get too excited at seeing something move in the sky and then reporting it to you. I waited for the "flash" and I was not disappointed. These are the ones that have been reported before in Vernon.

Two Lights Following One Another

Very dark night late Saturday early Sunday. No moon in the sky. Stars very visible. We were in a state park in the Smithville/Absecon area off of RT 9. This area is very close to military bases, but this object did not fly low enough to have originated at any of the bases close by. This object was completely quiet and would of gone totally un-noticed unless you were star gazing and caught a glimpse by luck. Slow moving stars is how they appeared. Moving in a straight line across the sky, directly above us. They followed each other in a perfect line, but there was no evidence of them being separated or attached. they looked as distant as two stars. Equally as bright/faint as every star in the sky. The only difference is they moved. I would say they were in plain view for approx 3 minutes. That is how long it took them to cross our line of vision and then disappear. They moved from west to east in a straight line. if you were to hold your arm out fully extended, they would of be separated by a thumbs width. A satellite would make sense but again, there were two distinct lights, and they were as bright as stars.

Bright Orange Lights

It was good to know that there are others that saw the same things that we saw in the night sky. Three us saw the same thing and we were in two different vehicles, driving south on Olive Trail. The lights were visible between 11th and 12th road and just above the tree lines and between Myer and Lawrence Lake. The appeared as two rows of three lights and then there were three rows.

Large Triangular UFO And Jet Activity

I saw two objects back to back tonight! First I was out walking my dog and on our way back towards home. I then noticed three bright lights in a triangular formation to the south of us, the craft was heading west. This object was silent and couldn't have been a plane as I didn't hear any noise. Also Brian there is a large presence of jet air craft in the area speeding about. I counted more then six. I watched the triangle craft for about four minutes. This thing had dim white lights, and looked huge, to big to be a plane. It flew over a road with heavy traffic someone had to of seen this. I noticed also this thing had a very bright white light on top almost blinding. I must say I am baffled by this sighting.

Now object 2 that I saw tonight I have seen on many occasions. It just keeps reappearing. I saw a large bright star object that changed from bright white to red. I should add it started to glow red. This object came from the west and was heading south east. I watched it for about two minutes. The weather tonight is partly cloudy and cool. Both objects were easy to see nothing that interfered while viewing both of these crafts. Brian if you want to hear more about this go ahead and drop me an email. Orange Light Shooting Straight Up

Hi, I just found this article after doing research from what I witnessed early March 12, 2008. I was driving home a 3:00am when I witnessed this bright orange light in the sky. It looked like an orange bright cross shooting straight up. I figured it was some Army experiment, since I live fairly close to Point Mugu in Southern California. Then this light moved southwest and a tail began to appear. I kept blinking my eyes thinking I was crazy & tired, but I wasn't, since I was amazed at what I was seeing. I was only sorry that I of course was the only person around to witness this.

Object Has Fire Trail That Looked Like Sparks (Russian SL6 rocket body)

Heading from west to east. Fire trail looked like sparks, whitish front looked like normal fire not traveling fast. We wondered if it was a crashing aircraft. It was heading for the ground I think, from our view it would have crashed near Willow River Area. (Small town) or that direction, no sound but not traveling fast. Please let us know if others seen it. I never called the airport that may be an idea.

A Large Transparent V Shaped Flying Object (UFO)

I woke up in the middle of the night and turned on the weather channel as I always do when I wake up and can't go right back to sleep. I needed to blow my nose (which usually wakes up my girlfriend) so I grabbed a tissue and stepped out the back door. I blew my nose and marveled at how beautiful, calm and warm of an evening it was. For some reason (or no reason at all) I walked up my driveway and stood by the street. I looked around at the beautiful night and then I looked to the sky which I often do. I thought to myself "man it has been a while since I even looked at the sky". Mainly because it has been such a long cold winter and this was the first time in months I was able to comfortably "star gaze". As I was staring to the sky directly above me something caught my eye. It was coming from the south west and moving slowly.

As I focused on the object I could see that it was approximately 900 - 1500 feet above me and it was a very large V shaped object almost transparent. So much so that I had to question weather or not I was actually seeing it or not. It was amazing, completely silent and did not move in anyway other than to perfectly glide through the air directly over my head and into the distance. I am blown away. I saw something without a doubt. I can not explain it. I need to share this with someone. I wanted to call 911 or the police but I did not think it was the right thing to do. So I immediately came in here to my computer and did a Google search for "transparent V shaped flying object" and found your site. Please write me or call me when ever you can. Thank you. I received an email from an eyewitness to the sighting, the fellow lives in Kamloops, British Columbia and he left his telephone number and I called straight away and had a nice conversation with him about the event. The witness had just finished sitting in his hot tub, got out and dried himself off and gone inside. He was looking out the picture windows looking towards the north and over the mountain rather low he observes this long orange streak in the sky. The man opened one of the windows and stuck his head out as he was amazed at what he was observing. His first thoughts were that of an airplane on fire. The object was traveling from the west to the east rather slowly, the witness watched the object for at least 10 to 15 seconds and he finally lost sight of it due to the mountain. The man also notes that if he had of spotted the object before he did, the length of time observing it would have been a little longer. It was moving approximately as slow as a jet aircraft. The object was large in size and had a tail/trail following behind it. Also what was noted, were bits of the object that were in the tail of it, the witness figured the pieces were burning up and breaking off the larger object. The object stayed almost horizontally, maybe dropping slightly in altitude.

A Russian SL6 Rocket Body

Update: Russian SL6 Rocket body is cause for the sighting.

I sighted a spectacular meteor at 00:25 13Mar08 heading west to east at approximately 35 degrees over the horizon. It took approximately 25 seconds to traverse the sky heading in a gradually downward trajectory. The tail was immense and the light of the object itself, very bright.

I live at Green Lake in the Cariboo, about 40K south of 100 Mile House. The curious thing is there have been absolutely no reported sightings in the press or, on the internet that I can find.

Craft Appeared Square At The Front And Triangular At Back
Chandler Rd/Bartley RD & Hyson RD Intersection, Jackson, New Jersey

I was watching what appeared to look like a plane, traveling very slow and low, as I approached with my car the object appeared to be square into the front. I pulled over to get out and get a better look. It kept heading on it's course, the back appeared to not have lights and start to look triangular.

I live near many military bases, so a rational explanation is it is most likely a military plane, but nothing like I have ever seen before. I did not want to sound crazy so I did not report it to anyone. I came home looked around on line and discovered I am not the first to see such a thing, although most sightings are near military bases. Of course the military denies such an object. I stumbled across your sight and thought I'd let you know.

Object Seen In The Sky For A Long Period Of Time

Time: 11:45 p.m.

I was looking outside my balcony and saw at a distance a red flashing object which looked more like a star from far. I looked at it constantly for 10 minutes and then realized the light was getting bigger, like the object was coming closer. It was red and yellow flashes. After another 10 minutes I saw it moving very slowly from northeast direction to the northwest direction and the lights got smaller and went sideways. The UFO was stable for 30 minutes at it's position. I then went down and found a couple of people and showed them the light. They were also surprised, as they had not seen something like this before. None of us had a camera a video camera. I then came back up to apartment.

At 11:50 am I contacted the UFO reporting center in Washington and filed a report there. At 1:22 am the object has moved northwest and the lights went smaller and smaller and sideways, stopping every 2 minutes in one position until it went pretty further away for me to see it. If you want the image of this object my best suggestion would be to take satellite photos at the precise time I saw this. You might able to pull some images. This is my first encounter with something like this and will never forget this day and sighting for the rest of my life.

A Bright White Light At High Altitude

Time: 7:15 p.m.

Around 7:15 I was standing on my porch enjoying the warmer weather we've had as of late, and a clear blue sky with the sun still shining this late. I am facing south towards Lake Ontario and live right beside the Oshawa/Whitby border at Rossland and Thornton Rd's. Two jumbo jets were flying east from Pearson Airport and were very low, and very clear and was a thrill to watch as the sun was reflecting off of the planes. When the second jumbo jet, following close behind passed I looked up at the smoke trail and for a split second, at very high altitude, much higher than the planes, I saw a bright white light appear to head completely straight on a South/West/West course then it disappeared. It was so high up I was assuming it was the ISS, however at that time, the shuttle had not yet docked with the station, so it is very possible it was in fact the shuttle I saw the reflection of, so high up. It was that high because it was still a blue sky out, the bright light appeared out of no where, and it seemed to disappear into the blue sky. I estimate it was literally 100's or even 1000's of kilometers higher than the two jumbo jets. Not sure if it was a UFO but it was very strange. I am not even sure if the ISS was passing over that area at that specific time. Though it was very short lived, it was very relevant and noticeable so I would gather there were other witnesses elsewhere in the area.

UFOs Follow Witness Along The Road

My girlfriend had seen a few objects in the sky this morning while looking out her living room window around 2:50 AM. They were streaking across the sky and one of them seemed to change shape. She had also seen 3 others while driving down Herring Cove Rd last week on Tuesday around 10:00 p.m. with her mother. They followed along with her down the road and hovered over an apartment building, after which she went inside and didn't look back. There are lots more details but I was just wondering if anyone has seen these as well, or if you have heard anything about these.
