A Sasquatch Blood Curdling Shrieking ?

The recent Sasquatch reports have motivated me to tell you of an event from many years ago. This is a story that has been told by my father. The trip from Prince George B.C. to Vancouver B.C. is a long one, about 500 miles. Sixty-five years ago it probably seemed even longer. That was when it was still a gravel road and had few tunnels and few bridges. Even now it is an empty part of the Province.

During the summer of 1941 my father, a school teacher, wanted to go to Vancouver from Prince George. No money and no car meant the best way to travel was by bicycle. He found a friend who was willing to make the ride with him and off they went. The combination of different riding skills, stamina and quality of bike meant that much of the time they were many miles apart, so sometimes dad was riding alone.

Because of the heat during the day they often rode at night. Early summer nights are short so far north so it was never very dark. The northern sky was always light. The adventures and incidents that he experienced are interesting and funny, except one. This took place not far from 100 Mile House. Now most of the Cariboo is covered with trees but in those days much of it was open rolling grasslands . What trees there were appeared mainly around lake edges and in the folds of the hills. Dad had been riding alone for most of the evening. A flat tire had slowed dad some and his friend was well ahead of him. By the time the sky was as dark as it was going to get, everything was silent. The only sound was from his bicycle tires on the loose gravel.

Suddenly the night exploded in sound. It was a shrieking screeching undulating howl like nothing he had ever heard before. He'd heard the _expression of "blood turning to ice". Now he knew just what that meant. Dad was not unfamiliar with the outdoors. He'd heard the sound of owls catching prey, cougars, moose, elk and bears. This was different. His reaction was to get out of there! But which way? The sound was coming from all around him. When he saw faint movement in a nearby clump of trees he'd just passed, he took a guess that he should go the opposite direction, which was also the way he was heading. And he did, as fast as he could pedal. As suddenly as it started the sound stopped. Again there was no sound but the tires on the gravel going much faster this time!

A few valleys later he caught up to his friend, who had heard nothing. Eventually dad decided he must have heard a moose bouncing several times off a fence wire, or something. However he was never comfortable with that explanation. At the time he was not very aware of a creature called a Sasquatch although he had seen the newspaper photo of a live one captured near Yale in the Fraser Canyon (never have managed to find out what happened with it). He can't remember if that was before or after his bike ride.

About thirty years later I was living and working in the 100 Mile House area. A co-worker who was an avid outdoors man asked if I would work his shift for him one weekend. He and his buddies wanted to go on a fishing and camping weekend at an isolated back woods lake a couple of hours out of town. They left Friday and surprisingly were back just after sunrise Saturday. Apparently they had reached the lake, set up camp and sat around a campfire for a while before turning in. They did not stay up late as they wanted to be up early for the fishing. Sometime after they had settled for the night an incredible howl had them all out of bed and looking at each other in astonishment. Although they were all hunters and fishermen none of them had ever heard a sound like that before. It seemed to becoming from the far side of the lake. Suddenly it stopped. Half an hour later they heard it again but this time it was much closer to the end of the lake and therefore closer to their campsite. A few minute later it screeched again, this time even closer. So these four men not only packed up and left, they were not ashamed to admit it! He described the sound to me, undulating, screeching, howling, blood chilling. It sounded so much like what my father had described, I told him about it.

Continuing Bigfoot Sightings
East Texas

I've had a few strange encounters since we moved back to E. Texas, not with UFOs but with Bigfoot. He was here when we moved in the house I bought. It's located between two forests and a gravel pit near by. A lot of weird things were happening, noises, bumps , tin beating on barn, etc. Then one night my son & I heard a noise I can't explain, we jumped up, got the big flash light, and along with the dog we ran out back, it was about 1:30 am. My son shinned the light above the tall grass. This was Sept. 17, 2007. We didn't see anything so Sierra and the German Shepherd walked around to the front where his truck was parked. I stayed in the back alone, leaning up against my Ford Ranger looking toward the north. About that time I could see something light in color rising up out of the tall grass behind a dead tree limb lying on the ground about 10 feet. from me.

This thing rose up, up, up and kept rising. I began talking to myself and rubbing my eyes. The creature must have been over 8 feet tall and maybe 3 feet wide. It really surprised me. I know it was a Bigfoot, but the whitish color threw me off. He stood there about 7 or 8 seconds looking at me. I couldn't say a word, I was so scared. Then he turned and ran away in a northerly direction. The horses in the pasture started acting up and the dogs at the neighbors began barking. I tried to feed him, and I bought a security camera but I've never gotten any pictures. I covered some of the windows in the living room and one night I heard him growl after I covered the window.

By the paths around the grass and bushes, I think he was looking in the window at me. My son heard him growl outside the bedroom window and I heard him growl outside the bathroom window. Last week, the dog outside barked and ran scared, I got the flash light and shinned it across the street in front of the house. I saw his eyeballs looking at me for a few seconds then he slowly lowered himself behind the large round bales of hay. I also know where he lives, I hiked into the woods and say several piles of human like feces, with persimmon seeds and animal hair resembling my gray cat that mysteriously disappeared.

My name is Carol (Surname removed as requested) I am going back many years but the story is still in my mind. My parents were out taking their early evening stroll by the Golf course on Mill Park road in Port Elizabeth, when they saw on the Golf course an UFO which had landed. Carol can not remember details as it was too long ago but she remembers them telling her that they saw no activity or aliens and, can not remember what happened after that.

She was not alarmed as she has always known that she is not of this world but, that she came from the Pleiades. When I asked her how she new she replied," I just feel it within myself". She remembers when she was in the Amazon Jungle on holiday she looked up at the magnificent sky full of stars and seeing the Pleiades made her feel good, contented and at home.

I would like any person from that area to report to me or Brian any stories of UFO's in this neck of the woods.

UFO Travels Alongside Of Car
Johannesburg To Port Elizabeth, South Africa

Carol was driving from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth (A distance of over 1000 Kms by road) alone in her motor car at 3:00 am in the morning. The weather was clear and fine. As she left Cradock she saw through the front windscreen of the car, a UFO traveling alongside her. It was about the size of a car and a bright red colour. The distance to her destination was another 200 Kms. The UFO kept pace with her for the rest of the trip. She was not afraid and, felt that it was comforting her and accompanying her on the long journey.

A Massive Disk Shaped UFO

I was around 6 years old, alone in the house with my nanny in her own quarters and my parents were out. There was a large storm overhead and I was sitting at a glass door looking out and up at the sky. I was scared because of the storm. The clouds were rolling overhead and suddenly through the clouds appeared the front edge of a massive disk that covered most of sky. It was silver grey in colour and all around the disk edge were lights spaced evenly apart. My child's mind made it look like a long string of light bulbs hanging in the cloud, and only later on in life did I realize what it was that I saw. A Ball Of Fluorescent Orange

I was 8 years old and playing a children's game of 'snakes and ladders' along with my two brothers in the bedroom of our house in Burekup Western Australia. The curtains had been pulled across to keep the room as cool as possible in the 40 degree heat of summer. Outside the bedroom was a paddock with wild oats and some calves roaming the area. The sky was clear blue on this day.

To our surprise a ball of fluorescent orange appeared out of no where in front of us next to the bed. We opened the curtain but there was nothing outside to indicate where or why or what this object was and how it came to be in the room. We pulled the curtains back closed. We stopped the game and all stared at this ball that was around 7 inches in diameter. It made a soft purring sound and appeared to be independent in the way it moved. This ball was not transparent , it glowed and was bright fluorescent orange, it appeared to be solid but had no feeling when it crossed our bodies. We watched as it spun around the room and then flowed quickly across and over us. The ball then went next door to the bathroom and circled the wall and sink, then following out along the short corridor it entered into the lounge with us following as we were very inquisitive.

The orange ball circled around independently through the lounge, going under and over the lounge seating and across the wall before circling around very quickly in the room and exiting out along the corridor, following we went back along the corridor and down to the bedroom where we had come from before the object vanished in front of us. We looked under the bed and outside the window and there was nothing that would indicate where or how this odd fluorescent ball had arrived or appeared from in any way. It did make a soft purring sound and it was not a lighting bolt or anything of this nature. We were puzzled and quite bewildered by this strange happening. It was mobile and small and independent and flew of its own accord. It was unlike anything we had seen before.

Many years passed and I never forgot this unusual experience. I told my cousin about the happening by email and was very surprised when in his amazed reaction he said the same thing had happened in the same room around 4 years later when my youngest brother - who was not born in the first happening. Both my cousin and youngest brother had experienced this occurring in that room of the house also so many years later.

UFO Moved Quickly And Then Stopped

It was a cold and clear night when I saw what I thought may have been a plane or helicopter. It was moving kind of in between fast and slow. I looked carefully and it happened to stop suddenly and it had heaps of different colour lights on it. It stayed there in that spot for about 30 seconds and the object quickly sped off at maybe 50 - 100kph towards over the golf course. It flashed colours of white, blue, red and green and it seemed to be in a spinning effect as it was flying. It then went over to he trees like searching for something and stayed there for about 5 minutes and then suddenly disappeared.

Humming Noise Coming From UFO

It was cold and I had my window open. It was dark outside and my 3 year old cat insisted I have the window open, so he could sit on the ledge like always. I wasn't aware of what the time was, I'm usually up late. It was probably 5 minutes into the window being open that I heard a humming noise outside my window, I decided to ignore it because I was to busy to bother with it. It got louder and the noise that I heard was like that of a whirring, if you understand that. It was audible enough for anyone to hear, so I went back to working on my computer, I was thinking about the humming noise, wondered what it was, but forgot all about it. So then it was dead quiet and my cat jumped down and onto my desk and sat in front of my screen and started to get ticked off at me. He gets this way if he doesn't want to be touched, I didn't even touch him. So I move my chair back from him and sat there watching him, when he hissed at me.

My cat just sat there staring at nothing. I tried to call his attention, but he never budged, so thinking this is weird I finally got up and I turned my lights off and my monitor to my pc off and I stood right where my cat used to be, our outdoor light should automatically come on, it didn't. I was really scared, because most things like ghosts don't bother me, this did, it wasn't a ghost, this was something more stranger than that. I closed the window really quick and walked out to the kitchen to get the garbage then I went to my sliding door in one of our back rooms and I opened it to put the garbage out and as I got out there, I saw a bright light in the sky, it was in view of my backyard. I left my cats in and I just stood there watching to see if it would move, well it moved alright, back and forth, then it stopped.

I'm thinking is this light trying to mock me for some reason. When I turned to deal with my cats fighting, when I looked back it was gone. This light was bigger than any star and it's behavior was different than any shooting star. Even outside I'm sure after this all happened and the light left, I went to the front of my house to look and see if there was anything I could attribute it to (humming), there wasn't a thing I could see making that. Most things don't scare me, because I'm into the paranormal and I investigate ghosts and hauntings.

Now here is where it gets weird, a friend of mine who doesn't want to be interviewed or even talk about it, said to me, so I guess you had an interesting evening and I said, when did this occur? She said Sunday night and she told me that I should of paid closer attention. I'm thinking ok, and closer attention to what? They are aware of you, and that's all she said. I'm thinking ok and who are they that are aware of me? She said, it's not my job to explain this to you, she said in time it will be made known. Ok, I thought whatever. People who have this ability Brian to know more than we do, she shocked me and said that I to have this gift, yes I know I do, but it's a matter of how to harness it and use it properly. So whomever or whatever this was, hasn't been back since.

HBCC UFO Research Note: Possible missing time event, seems this does happen in Kelowna which still is a hot spot for UFO sightings.
Hovering above a building in Rutland/Kelowna, maybe 10 feet above the whole roof area.

Oddly enough I remember seeing this object just hovering above a business on the corner of Rutland and Hwy 33 After that my time and memories for the night are all distorted, scary and somewhat unrealistic. I felt frozen in time almost. Anyone witness that object Friday night close to midnight or 2:00 am? any object moving towards the Kelowna area? Or leaving it? Anyone have lost time or strange memories?

UFO Landed
Groendal Nr. Uitenhage, Outside Port Elizabeth South Africa
Date: Weekend of March 8 - 9th, 2008

This area is like a Nature reserve and a permit is required to enter. It is sparsely populated with only the odd farm house or two.

Carol visited this area and on arrival at an uninhabited farm house felt an Energy that flowed through and about the area. This feeling of energy gave her peace and tranquility. Carol mentioned that in 1976 the local people say a UFO landed and Aliens were observed. This was reported in a local newspaper. She has offered to try to get a copy of the article and Email it to me. Many sightings have been seen in the area and are continuing at this moment.

Carol also say's that, the aliens will make themselves known in 2012, when the Mayan calendar ends.

I would like any person from that area to report to me or Brian any stories of UFO's in this neck of the woods.

Some will claim that these are flares but I have seen these many times in the past. Some months ago I shined a green laser at four of these and they went out and came back on in the form of a huge 'W'. The photos were taken Monday March 10 2008, from Surprise AZ looking south southwest. I used a Canon Rebel 35 mm 100-300 mm zoom lens, exposure was five seconds. You can use these if you desire but I have no problem if you choose not to post these.

Strange Moving UFO Behind The Mountain
Palm Springs, California

Today I decided to search on Google to see if anyone else saw what I saw on March 13th and it led me to your site. Here is the link to the same UFO I saw. http://www.ufoinfo.com/sightings/canada/080313d.shtml

I was at home with a hand full of friends at around 7:00pm when I saw a bright big light behind our mountain. This light was moving at strange angles but it had a constant speed. It would move south for about 10 seconds and then take a 70* degree angle towards the east and then back west at a 110* angle and so on. It would keep doing this until it got so small it disappeared. It must have been departing our planet at a constant rate. I agree with everything that the guy from the Oshawa/Whitby, Ontario report stated. But when I first saw it, it was much bigger and was hovering over the San Jacinto mountain I live next to.
