Royersford, Pennsylvania - Flash Of Light And A Low Lying Hum

Understand this, I did not "see" a UFO, only the lights from above. But it was the sound that I heard that convinced me because this is something I've never seen or heard. I woke up around 2:50am to a rain shower. It was raining pretty steadily, and I was laying in bed with my boyfriend when all of a sudden there was a bright light that flashed through my window. I immediately assumed it was lightning, so I opened my eyes and waited to hear the thunder, which I never heard. What I did hear when that first light flashed was a low lying hum that died off almost immediately after the light flashed. I thought maybe it could have been a transformer that blew, but we had total power in our house. After about a minute the light flashed again and I sat up, at this point scared, because my eyes were opened and realized it wasn't lightning. That hum came right after the light. I got out of bed and went to my window and waited. After about 2 minutes I got back into bed when again, this light flashed and then the hum, and I got up again and opened my blinds and convinced myself to wait there to see if it would happen again.
About 1 minute later, I saw this bright white/yellowish light what looked to be like a massive flood light that was right over our home, probably no more than 10-20 feet above our roof and it flashed onto our next door neighbors 2nd and 3rd floor outside walls. It was almost like there was a giant camera above our house taking pictures, because the flash was fast, but not like lightning. Again, the hum came instantly afterwards. My boyfriend, who had been in bed the whole time but also was watching me, got up and we put shoes on and went outside. We stood on our porch, and I went outside in the rain and at this point, after 20 minutes, there were no more lights. The whole thing probably lasted about 5-6 minutes long, but I don't know what to make of it. I know it wasn't lightning, and it wasn't a plane or helicopter, or a transformer because we didn't lose power. The sound was so soft, like I said, a mild hum that died down after the light flashed. Please help me understand what that could have been.

Highway 417 Ottawa Towards Montreal - A Low Flying Bright Green Sphere

I was driving at 90kms/hour (cruise control) and was about 70kms from Ottawa on the 417. There was very little traffic and the sky was clear and quite bright with moonlight. I was 'over taken' by a low flying bright green sphere. It was going extremely fast, creating a streak of green and the trajectory was parallel to the ground. It passed by in an instance. If I had seen the exhaust pipe of an airplane there would have been a big noise - but there was nothing.

7 Miles East Of Prescott, Arizona Dark Oval Craft - No Sound Disappears Into Cloud

I was standing outside on my deck around 7:00pm. I noticed an unusual looking craft going north to south on 7/14. It was interesting because it was darker than most aircraft; it didn't have lights, and made no sound. It flew into a cloud and never came out. The cloud was positioned in such a way that I could not have missed an exit. It never did and the cloud dissipated and the craft and cloud was gone. If you have a logical explanation I'd love to hear it.

Kelowna, British Columbia - A Large Almond Shaped Cloud ?

Earlier afternoon I had finished lunch and went out on deck to smoke and I thought wow, what a eerie looking cloud. It was a perfect almond shape and it did not move like the other clouds were. It was windy. It was very larger like football field size and it was fairly low. Inside the cloud seem a slight darker shade. I thought what the heck now, "they can camouflage themselves". I went back in the house and carried on knowing it was probably one of them again. Later in the day I went out front to put my sprinkler on and north towards airport I saw it again. No more clouds in the sky except this just sat there. I couldn't believe it. If it was a cloud. It was shaped perfectly to the metallic ones I have seen in the past, but this one was very, very large and in the center it was slightly darker as if it was hiding it's true form. In the past couple of weeks in Kelowna I have noticed those flashes of lights that I have reported in the past, green quick flashes at night. Around 9ish to 10ish at night. I have seen UFO's lately but couldn't focus on them long enough to be sure to report it because I have been driving when I have spotted them then I slow down to find the object again and it is gone.

New Westminster, British Columbia - A Black Object Hovering

Was sitting in my living room watching TV. During the commercials I glanced out my windows at the western sky and noticed what appeared to be a black object hovering over New Westminster or perhaps the Fraser river. I grabbed my binoculars to check it out and to my surprise it appeared to be a Killer whale or Orca swimming in the air. I ran and grabbed my Video camera and went out on my deck. It took me a few minutes to locate the object again as it had moved quite aways further west. I managed to get about 5 minutes on video which I then transferred to DVD. I'd hoped to send it to you but so far have been unable to figure out how to E-mail it. I've showed it to our visitors from Australia but like me they are just not sure as it appears to change shape as it moves. It appears to be at about 2000 to 3000 feet in altitude and about the size of a small single engine plane. It may have been a balloon but it seemed kind of strange for something that size to be floating near the approach to the N. runway at YVR. It vanished shortly after I stopped taping it.
22:00 - My friend from Richmond phoned and told me she had been looking out her window and noticed two white lights in the southern sky. I thought perhaps she might have been looking at Jupiter but she said no. She saw Jupiter and it was a little further east. The two lights she saw were about the size and brightness of Venus.They were bobbing up and down in a zig zaggy motion, One up- and one down. She watched for abut five minutes before they vanished

Vernon, British Columbia A Disc Shaped UFO (Picture)

I was out taking shots of the great clouds in the sky this evening and saw a disc like object and quickly snapped a picture. July 15th 7pm, around 30th Ave. I have attached the original picture and have also attached a picture of it zoomed. The object appeared to be a silvery coloured, but appeared a bit rust coloured as well. It looked sort of like a disc, but with the edges slightly turned up.I managed to get one picture, and then it was gone.

Caledon, Ontario A Cigar Shaped UFO

Just read about the sighting in Caledon direction, I did see something the next day coming out of thunder clouds way over lake Ontario heading in a western direction also. Additional Information: It was on July 15 at about 4pm. It was over the western end of Lake Ontario. I seen a cigar shaped object com out of a thunder cloud. By the time I pulled over to get a better look which was only a mater of sec. I could not find it and it was heading in to a clear sky.

Stave Lake Mission, British Columbia - Flying Saucer

I was camping At Stave Lake with some friends last night with some friends. At about 1:00 AM everybody went to there tents for some sleep. Me and my friend didn't want to sleep so we started talking. My friend was outside by the fire, by himself. I have to point out that the Stave Lake Flats (or what wasn't underwater) is in a valley with mountains to the East and West, but you can see South to North for an extremely far distance. Between the times of 2:00-3:00 AM I looked through the top of my tent at the stars, and in the corner of my eye to the left (South) was a bright light. This light caught my attention because at first I thought it was a shooting star. But it wasn't moving that fast (or so I thought) The light bigger and brighter and eventually I started to see some definition in the light. But it wasn't just one light. To my surprise it was an almost stereotypical flying saucer. It had a large light in the center with either 6 or 8 little lights in a circle around the main center light. At first I thought that the bug net on the top of my tent so I zipped open the door and looked up and it was even clearer than before.
I told everyone to look up and the two of my friends who where awake both saw it. My friend admitted that it was a UFO and he doesn't believe in that kind of stuff. Since the lights on the craft were so crisp in the sky and I could see its hull/body clearly I predict that it was at about 10,000-20,000 ft. in the air, and had a circumference of about 100 feet or more, but it was hard to tell because it was dark. I don't know if it was alien or a government test craft but I would like to know if anyone else saw it. P.S. it was traveling faster then any aircraft I've ever seen!

Ottawa, Ontario - An Orb Shaped UFO

I was driving to a friends house with my roommate on Conroy Road heading south towards Huntclub Road. Out of the upper left corner of the windshield I saw an orb shaped object light up bright green, blue and begin to move slowly and then all of a sudden with a burst of speed take off into the distance and disappear. I am skeptic, but I know what I saw is something I have never seen before. It appeared to be around 1km in front of me and around 10,000 feet above me. When I saw the orb light up it stayed in place for less than half a second.
When it burst into speed there was very long tail of light that appeared to be coming off the back of the orb. It was also the same colour as the orb (green blue) What makes me wonder is: The sky was over cast and I could not see any stars or anything off in the very far distance, so I wrote off the possibility of a crazy shooting star. I've seen fireworks before and I know that this thing was too high up to be a firework, also considering the speed it gained out of nowhere.
The fact that something lit up very brightly, in an odd colour and remained motionless for half a second and then took off with enormous speed for about one second. Thankfully, and what keeps me sane, is that I was with my roommate at the time. When it happened I immediately asked him if he what I saw and he confirmed that he also saw it. At least we both saw something unidentifiable!

Calgary, Alberta - UFO Comes From Out Of A Cloud

The craft came out of a cloud and it was moving slowly to the north then it just stopped and sat there for awhile. It change directions and started to go east towards the airport and stop again. It was about 10,000 feet up then it just vanished into the blue sky. There were hardly any clouds out.

I recently contacted you in late June about a UFO sighting that I had in Corner brook, NL. Well, last night myself and my two young sons had the opportunity to witness a low-flying UFO that went directly over the house. Details as follows:
On Sunday night my two sons (ages 9-1/2 & 12) were up late watching TV with me. They went upstairs to get ready for bed at approx. 11:30 pm. My oldest usually opens his window and watches the planes going overhead each night before going to sleep. I thought his brother was in his own room but both were looking out of the same window, looking at the stars and the occasional plane. At about 11:45 I heard my oldest son let out a scream... "Daddy, run out to the deck, there's a UFO going over the house!!"
I jumped off the couch and ran outside. I immediately saw what they had seen. There was an object , larger than a plane, flying in a northeast direction, with too many lights to count, flashing in a constant manner. It's altitude could have been no higher than a couple of thousand feet. I couldn't hear any sound, it was about 1 km away. The kids joined me outside and immediately pointed to the object that I was viewing. It was flying too slow for a plane. It continued to the northeast for a few more seconds and then suddenly banked sharply to the left until it was then traveling in a northwesterly direction. It was visible for about another two minutes until it disappeared behind the hills on the North shore of the Bay of Islands.
The kids story:
They were looking out the window when this large object flew almost directly over the house. It was very large, flying about helicopter level. It was emitting a sound similar to a plane but it didn't sound quite right. They said that it was traveling too slow for a plane. They said that it had "wings" going in both directions and had a large circle of white lights underneath. My oldest was visible shaken from the sighting and had trouble sleeping last night.
I concur with the boys in that this object had way too many lights to be a regular plane. Even viewing if from behind at approx. 1 km I could see many lights flashing in a regular pattern (white and red). The object was also too big to be a plane.
Audio witness:
I told my mom about my son being upset over what he thought to be a UFO last night. I never told her exactly what time we saw the UFO but she told me that sometime just before midnight she had just gone to bed when she heard what she first thought to be a plane outside the window, but it didn't sound quite right (she lives only 10 houses down the street). She said the sound was a cross between a plane and the whine of a transport truck. My mom figured it couldn't be a plane because it lasted too long, as if it was traveling too slow!!

New Jersey - Multiple UFOs
Date: July 21, 2008
Time: Between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. - Until 12:00 a.m.
My sister, son and myself were standing outside when my son noticed this bright light in the sky that was too large to be a star and there was no sound or much movement like a plane. While we were looking at this object, it looked to us if it were almost like a firework. Long strands of light came out from around it's circular shape. It was moving slowly, almost looked like it was hovering in one spot. Wow, what a bright light. By the time I ran to the house to get my camera, it was gone that fast.
About 15 minutes later, there it was again. But this time it looked like it moved to the right a bit and underneath it was another weird object, just idling. There was no noise and this was not an airplane. We sat in shock, we actually watched planes fly above this object and under. We called a few friends and tried to take as many pictures as we could, but my digital camera batteries kept dying. This continued for about an hour or more. In the mean time, we noticed two more objects, one which was right in back of my home and the other on the opposite side of the first one we saw.
Out of no where, what we thought was a plane, was a huge round object, with alot of lights circling around it and as fast as we saw it, was as fast as it was gone. It was way too large to be a plane, the one by my house actually had a green fluorescent type light beaming down, but in every single object we saw, we saw tiny red lights all around it, with other colors, like blue, green orange. I took as many pictures as I could, being my batteries wouldn't hold a charge for long. If you notice the dates on my pictures you will see it's wrong. This is due to me having to change the batteries so many times.

Scarborough, Ontario - Four Round Bright Lights

I saw 4 big, round lights in the sky above my apt. building. They would circle, come in together, then split 2 by 2 and circle again. This went on for about 1 hour. I couldn't see them because of the overcast sky, but I did see the light. After about an hour, they moved further north. I haven't heard anything on the news or on the weather report. I was wondering if anyone reported seeing anything. People were on their balconies at the apt. across the street from me watching whatever it was.

Just had to let you know what's just been told to me over the phone just a few minutes ago by my eldest daughter.My granddaughter's boyfriend phoned her to tell her what he had just witnessed . As he was driving down from Gorwell Rd Barnstaple, about half an hour ago, towards St.Georges Rd , he told her that he saw ( 2 ) extremely bright glowing round orbs in the sky ... as he stopped to look at them and get his phone to call my granddaughter , they simply vanished.

Doncaster South Yorkshire, U.K. - Sphere Shaped UFO (Map)

Just came in from having a cigarette in the back garden and noticed a light coming in my direction from west to east. I thought it was the headlights of a plane coming in to land at Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster as we get a lot of flight traffic overhead. The object was a golden, single light. It didn't lose altitude and was moving slower than an incoming civilian aircraft. I watched it pass pretty much directly overhead and was surprised by 2 things: 1 - it was silent and 2 - normally when planes go over, the headlights appear to go out as it passes by. This light stayed the same shape and had no wing or tail lights. There were 2 normal planes in the sky ( with wing and tail lights) at the same time - albeit moving in different, unrelated directions.
I have no observational experience so I cannot give much of a guide as to speed and height - however, it was at approximately the same height that police helicopters often pass at ( if that's any help) and slower moving. If it was at roughly the same height that police helicopters fly at, then in terms of size it was much smaller - maybe 2-3 metres across maximum. I came back in the house and upstairs to my room which is front facing and watched the light until it was no longer visible. That was 22:48. Apologies if the description is vague.

Cook Lake Plymouth, Indiana - Bright Orange Lights

Bright orange lights that were larger than the stars or any airplanes. One flashed and then another one flashed straight above it, then another. Then a light flashed to the upper left of it and then another one moving to the left again as if it was going to form a circle. Then the lights just disappeared.

Orange Lights In Indiana

Tonight and last night July 22 but tonight the 23rd at around 10:20 and 10:25pm EST., there were these orange lights to what some people call flares. I couldn't believe it 2 nights in a row then jets came around about 3 to 5 minutes later. One orange light showed up then another off to the East then another next to the first one! They were bright and stayed stationary for about 5 or 7 sec. Then a few minutes later I finally had my camera in my hands one more popped up towards the East/South and finally caught that one on film. But careless me had the cam on night shot it's about 15 sec of film.
I don't know but I got all excited like a kid in a candy store lol. I wanted to tell ASAP but you know, you being over there and I over here. My neighbor was outside but wasn't looking up. I didn't say anything because I just couldn't believe what I was seeing lol. But I'm writing this to ask you if you could contact the base to see if they were sending out any flares or anything of that nature. Since you did contact them prior. So they were there about 10:20 to 10:25pm EST. July 23rd. It was amazing seeing them 2 days in a row! So if they were flares disregard this and well it was fun seeing them.
