Portland, Dorset, UK - Triangular UFO
Date: 1989
Time: 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
When I was little we lived in Dorset, UK on this island called Portland. Coming back from the fairground we were walking up a hill towards our house and it was quite dark with only a few street lights illuminating the street. Looking up me and my parents saw 3 lights that seemed to form a triangular object in the sky. (a light at each corner).
The object was moving side ways from north to south. The object was at low cloud level. As it was moving, it did not make a sound. it was silent, it then moved behind a very wispy white cloud and it never emerged from the other side. I don't know where it went but I think it may have shot up into space at that point.
We watched the object for just a minute or 2 I think. I do remember what it looked like I think the lights where light pink/white.
Soon after seeing the object I saw a program on the TV talking about Triangular UFO's with lights exactly the same that had been seen near to Military bases (Portland was a dock/base for the royal navy at the time). They had also been seen near to lights, apparently attracted to light. At the time of the sighting the Portland Fair was in full swing with many rides and lights illuminating part of the island. The reported sightings of these objects where around 1988-1991 from what I have heard.That is the same time we witnessed this object.

Winter Haven, Florida - An Egg Shaped UFO

Around 2:30AM EST, in 2000 me and my dad was out side looking at the stars. My dad went inside to get something and about 5 minutes after he went inside there was a egg shaped object around 20 feet long with two lights on the front of it. There was only 1 window all different colors when the light hits it, it was going around 20 mph 30 feet above me. It came out of the sky at a high speed, but when it came by me it slowed down then went off and almost hit the phone poll by my house and skimmed the tree in my next door neighbors yard and flow off to the sky. Ever since then I've been trying to find more people that saw the UFO I did that night. I have seen 5 UFO's since then with eye witnesses with me. Regarding the people who saw the Christmas Tree UFO. I saw this in 2002 and reported it to MUFON. It looked like one Christmas tree -- and stayed in the same position in the sky for hours - until I got tired of looking at it. I was in northern most Louisiana when I saw it. However, in discussing the Christmas tree UFO (the only one I have ever seen) with my b/friend who also saw it -- he reminded me recently that white objects flew across the sky and into the top of the Christmas tree. I had forgotten about that. I think I originally saw the Christmas tree UFO in December of 2002 - for two nights in a row, at about my 9 o'clock position in the towards the west. It was at about 8:30 to 10:30 at night. I asked MUFON about it and they told me it was a satellite. I never believed that.

Bradford, West Yorkshire, England - Light Changes To Black Disk

ne night in July 2007 at about midnight,i had just parked my car outside my home when i saw a bright amber circular light drifting silently in a southerly direction, I was watched it for about a minute, the sky was partly clear and still. As the circular light went into a blanket of cloud the light went out. It then reappeared as a black circular/disk shaped object still continuing in the same southerly direction until i could not see any more due to it disappearing into the built up skyline.

Berlin Mitte [Germany] - Strange UFO Filmed (Video Footage/Photos)

My wife and me were looking out the window of our top-floor apartment and saw a metal object coming towards us over the rooftops from a southerly direction. We first thought it was a helicopter coming straight at us but when it came closer we didn't see rotors so we thought it was a balloon but when it came closer we dismissed that idea too. The sun was shining behind it when it came toward us. Then when it was almost over our balcony in about 200 or 300 meter altitude I decided to get the camera. When I came back on the balcony it had changed direction to the east. I shot it with a Sony PC100E (1 ccd) camera with a wide-angle objective so the zoomed out image is making it appear further away then it actually was.

Along The A40 After Burford, U.K. - Bright Lights In The Field

I was driving along late on the A40 and noticed bright lights on the ground in the field, but shaped like a vast star - I thought at first there was a music festival somewhere around but there was no noise, or people, and then notice directly ahead of me a large roundish oval barrage balloon - bright - move across the line of trees and then disappear. Clacton On Sea, Essex, England - A Spherical UFO

I spotted the object for only a second or so from my brothers living room window. It was spherical in shape and very bright Orange in colour.Difficult to judge the size, but if I had to guess it was probably about 2 to 4 metres wide and travelling North at what I can only describe as very high speed. The object appeared to be descending at around 45 degrees and then it leveled out. It was the way in which the object moved that has stuck in my mind. The object appeared to be only a few hundred metres away, in broad daylight, which is why I'm convinced this was not any type of aircraft, meteorite or weather balloon etc.
There were three other adults with me at the time and although no one else spotted it, they all heard me mutter something along the lines of "I don't believe what I've just seen" It was not until I spotted a report of a similar sighting on a Suffolk Newspapers Website today that I felt compelled to share my experience.

Bristol, UK - A Large Glowing Pulsing Orb

Some friends returning to Hotwells after dinner at 22.30hrs, observed a large (five pence at arms length) glowing ball/orb, bright orange, pass over from Clifton towards Cumberland basin. Video was taken and I was called to see if I could see object from my vantage point, from our view point we witnessed the object depart at a very high rate of speed. Then a second object passed over head from the north, bright white, also silent. This object changed direction and followed the first objects path to west. I can honestly say neither were conventional aircraft, both silent, both must have been seen by many over the city.

At around 12:45 my husband shouted me to look through the window as there was a big orange ball sort of thing going straight past our window. So I then shouted my daughter come and look at these as well, as this was the most amazing thing I have ever seen as we watched the object going into the distance another 2 came past exactly the same they went in the distance to join the first one then just as before another 2 came past followed by one more they all came within 2.or 3 minutes of each other. Then as they went in to the distance they there wasn't any noise at all no trials or nothing. The first 3 that went past seem to be waiting for the last 3 to catch up to them before they all vanished.

New Jersey - Red Lights In A V Pattern UFO
Date: July 21, 2008
Time: Evening
On Monday before last, I saw a unusually bright light moving extremely slowly over New Jersey (not a plane blimp or chopper). It moved towards Philadelphia, then it got about 200 feet away from me. I saw a double row of reddish lights, arranged in a V pattern; six on top of six; each light recognizable; this was a craft. It was so close I could see it clearly (although not the superstructure because it was dark). No other planes were observed that night;very unusual. Did not have time to use my Handycam as it moved on when I was ready. Length about 100 feet, height maybe 50 feet and small thing moving at at 100 feet altitude like it was scared of nothing.

Hull East Riding Of Yorkshire, England - Star Like Objects

Thought it was the helicopter or plane but there was no sound and it was travelling too slow. It wasn't a star, stars don't fly over our house like that, all I can say it was a bright object which then was followed by two further objects which seemed to turn into one object, then it disappeared over the house.

My 2 friends and I sat on the beach and looked in the sky to see how many stars we know, when we suddenly saw a object which was shining so bright like a star. First we thought it's a plane, but we couldn't see the normal 2 red lights and for a helicopter it was too high and fast. It was flying very fast from west to the east along the beach. We couldn't see any shape of it because it was so shining like a star and it really looked as one!

A Bright Flash In The Arizona Sky

Today is the 25th of July and I'm telling you of what I saw on the evening of the 22nd. I had to read the reports of other people before I undertook this as I didn't want to look foolish. As usual when I and my friends go fishing we are surveying the skies to spot the satellites passing and I had spotted one very faintly moving South to North. I had told my partner but he couldn't spot it. Within a few minutes of its fading out I saw a bright flash directly South of the path that the satellite had been on. It was a very bright flash that lasted only a split second and it was diamond shaped,with the point of the diamond pointing toward the path that the satellite had been on. I asked my partner if he had seen that and he said no, I looked at my cell phone to get the time and it was 10:02pm in Arizona.

Ferntree Gully, Victoria, Australia - Orange Light

We live in Ferntree Gully, VIC. Last night (Wed 23 July) when my hubby & I were sitting outside on our decking, we spotted Two Orange Lights gliding towards us, from Upper FTG way. Round 11pm. One Orange light was very bright, the other was dimmer. The dimmer one seemed to be circling the brighter one, as though it was clearing the way or protecting it.
Once they were above us, & they werent that high, we could see a darker outline of a saucer shape of the brighter shinning one, the dimmer one had none, at least, that we could see. They glided off towards Boronia/Wantirna area's before fading out. It was very 'airey' but calming at the same time.
Way back in early 1999, we also witnessed '12' Orange lights coming from the Dandenong Ranges, they came towards us, only this time we got ALL the neighbours from the surrounding 7 units to come out & see, (cos this was our first encounter & we were very baffled), which our neighbours did, it was incredible, we all saw these 12 orange lights, go single file, then double up, then single file again before heading towards the Full Moon & creating the "Gemini" formation in front of the moon, before very slowly fading out.
*I actually reported this experience to the UFO hotline which was located out in the hills, to no avail, only receiving a phone bill the following month costing us $395.00 to explain what we had seen, definitely was Not Happy*

We viewed all the video's @ www.ufoballoons.co.uk & "No Surprise" for all of us, our sighting was nothing like the 'Lanterns or Balloons'. Ours was exactly as we described in our first email, Bright Orange light with 'Saucer' outline viewed as it was just above us, the dimmer orange light was just continually circling the brighter one. As far as heightwise, was lower than the Jet Fighter Pilots on an Anzac Day Display...

Ferntree Gully, Australia A Round Orange Light

My family and I were driving along forest road in upper Ferntree Gully. My wife noticed two orange objects in the sky. She asked my daughter who was driving to pull over. We all got out of the car. I saw two round objects moving in a parallel direction. I could not hear any sound. They seemed to be glowing as if on fire. I noticed that three other cars had pulled over as well. One of the people from the car behind us was calling his wife to tell her to go outside to see if she could see it as well. The objects then changed direction and then increased altitude until one completely disappeared and the other one looked like a bright star. My wife managed to get three good photos on her phone camera.

Armthorpe Doncaster U.K. - A Sphere Shaped Object

Just come in from having a cigarette in the back garden and noticed a light coming in my direction from west to east. I thought it was the headlights of a plane coming in to land at Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster as we get a lot of flight traffic overhead. The object was a golden, single light. It didnt lose altitude and was moving slower than an incoming civilian aircraft. I watched it pass pretty much directly overhead and was surprised by 2 things: 1 - it was silent and 2 - normally when planes go over, the headlights appear to go out as it passes by. This light stayed the same shape and had no wing or tail lights. There were 2 normal planes in the sky ( with wing and tail lights) at the same time - albeit moving in different, unrelated directions.
I have no observational experience so I cannot give much of a guide as to speed and height - however, it was at approximately the same height that police helicopters often pass at ( if that's any help) and slower moving. If it was at roughly the same height that police helicopters fly at, then in terms of size it was much smaller - maybe 2-3 metres across maximum. I came back in the house and upstairs to my room which is front facing and watched the light until it was no longer visible. That was 22:48. Apologies if the description is vague.

I watched the balloon video and can categorically state that it was definitely NOT one of those balloons from the video. This isn't the first thing I have seen, or reported - as I reported a sighting I had whilst living in Billericay, Essex about 4 years ago of a static, colour changing diamond shaped light. I have also seen several objects around Doncaster at different times going back to 1995.
I am widely read in the matter. Since my first "sighting" in 1995 I've spent a lot of time reading both sides of the argument. I have no answers as to who or what some of these things are. I also accept that, just because I have no idea what any of the objects were, there is probably a rational explanation for all of them.
Given my interest in the subject, I watch anything that I see as closely as possible. Most are things that you'd expect them to be but this one I thought was worth reporting in case anyone else may have seen it and have an explanation. It may have been a balloon, albeit, a bigger and much more brightly lit one. There was also no variation in the flight path - it was a dead straight line. Given that it was breezy on the night I saw it, if it was a balloon - I would expect it to have some slight deviations in its course. Of course, not being a meteorologist of aerodynamic expert, I may be wrong in that assumption.

Vernon, British Columbia - North Eastern Sky - A Glowing Orb

Time: 10:45 p.m.
I was at work, just outside in the parking lot, telling guests about sightings I had in the area in May and June, and as we stood there chatting; a giant white glowing Orb appeared in the sky - seemingly out of no where (At least cloud level if not higher) heading North East. As we watched the object go across the sky, there suddenly appeared a hovering object in the Eastern sky - high altitude - dramatically changing from Green to Red to White, and flashing intensely at times. It remained there for what seemed a good while. I had to close up work and the guests continued to watch until it vanished around 11ish.

Ipswich, Suffolk UK - Round Colored Light

Orange/red/yellowish light as big as a small car 3/4 to a mile away from my house at no more than 2 to 3000 feet in height traveling at approx. 150 miles per hour. No sound. From the northeast to southwest for 25 to 30 seconds before flickering and disappearing then reappearing for about five seconds then flickering out completely.

West Lafayette, Indiana - An Orange Round Light
Date: July 24, 2008
Time: 10:10 p.m.
I was walking the dog around 10:10 pm last night and saw an orange round object in the sky. I assumed it was a star or a plane (it was about that size and was glowing, but the light was constant). The object then appeared to spit apart and the two objects moved rapidly in the opposite direction. One of the objects disappeared. This occurred several times. The last time both objects disappeared. I then thought it might be someone setting off fireworks, but there was no noise associated with the objects and they seemed far too small to be a fireworks display.

Southbourne Drive, Bourne End, Bucks England - 30 To 40 Lights

Time: 11:30 p.m.
At about 23:30 hours last night (Friday 25/07/08) we observed approx. 30 or 40 orange colored lights of indeterminate shape moving across the sky from north west to south east in random clusters. They appeared to be moving reasonably quickly, they took about 30-45 seconds each to pass over us, and we were saw them for about 15 minutes in total. Some occasionally passed above the lowest layer of cloud and were temporarily obscured from view. They made no sound at all, and there was very little wind at ground level. Weather conditions were good , there was no rain or mist and only partial cloud cover. Three of our neighbors also witnessed the lights.
