A leading evolution expert says our traditional image of aliens is way off the mark.
Top BBC researcher Amanda Kear says a real-life ET would more likely resemble an octopus than the famous film alien or the traditional stereotype of little green men.
Amanda added: "We've got four limbs only because the first fish that crawled out of the sea had four fins.
"Creatures evolving on other planets are not necessarily going to have two eyes, a nose and a mouth. They could easily have evolved from a lobster or an octopus."
