Mount Popocatepetl Webcam Captures More Unknowns
In old Indian dialect the name means "Smoking Mountain" and Mount Popocatepetl, in Mexico, has been doing just that since it began its latest series of volcanic activity in December, 2000.
Since that time there have been numerous incidents of unexplained aerial phenomena connected with the mountain, and many photographs have been taken confirming this fact.
The Centro Nacional de Prevencion de Disastres [CENAPRED] monitors Mount Popo' on a 24 hour basis and even keeps a watch through its webcam located nearby.
FarShores reader Thomas Francis sends us the latest recorded anomalies by way of two frames reproduced below.
As you can see, the photographs were taken five minutes apart on the evening of April 18. Is it dirt on the lens, airborne ash, a bird even, or something more?
