TUVPO Investigators Solve Alien Mystery

When Turkish villagers claimed to have encountered a bizarre-looking alien creature on June 1 the balloon prophetically went up, as this story swiftly received international press attention.

Soon, numerous witnesses in other parts of Turkey, including Adana and Adiyaman, also claimed to have observed UFOs. A policeman in Gaziantep filmed a unexplained bright light in the sky and jokingly threatened to handcuff any aliens he might encounter.

As these sightings began to be taken seriously, even the Turkish Ministry of the Interior was kept informed of events

TUVPO, the Turkish Ufo & Paranormal Organization conducted its own investigation at the alleged site near Narli and after interviewing the witnesses was able to establish a number of important factors, which have clearly ruled out any alien or extraterrestrial involvement in the initial event.

Turkish Villagers Stone 2ft Tall Flying Alien

[Original headline: For ET fans the truth is out there - in Turkey]
[AP] - A field in Turkey was sealed off yesterday and scientists called in to investigate claims that an alien being had been spotted in the area.

Ayhan Cevik, the governor of Usak province, said he doubted the claim, but nevertheless cordoned off an area near Narli village.

Hakan Akdogan, the head of Sirius, a Turkish UFO research group, said a team was traveling to the area to check radiation levels and analyse the soil.

Fevzi Cam, his wife and another woman said they spotted the alien early yesterday while riding on their tractor to a tobacco field.

Mr Cam said he threw stones at the creature whom he described as wearing a shiny, yellow-gray outfit with a yellow light on the front. He said the being was 2ft tall with a wide, round head, and wide eyes. "It didn’t have wings or propellors but it could fly upward," Mr Cam said.

Two other villagers said they saw strange lights in the area.
