English Couple Inspired By Operation Disclosure
[Original headline: 'Beam me up Bracknell' message ]
A UFO-spotting couple from Ascot are determined to find people who have been abducted by aliens to understand the phenomenon.
Graham and Dot Raine, of Carbery Lane, believe there is convincing evidence that Greys - aliens with big black eyes, grey skin and small spindly bodies - have landed on the earth.
Graham, 54, said: "There is no doubt that many hundreds of thousands of people all over the world think they have been abducted. Many of these abductees must feel totally trapped. They know something has happened to them, but they often don't know exactly what, or who they can talk to about it. Anyone who has had such an experience can contact us in the strictest confidence."
The couple run an insurance firm from an office in New Road and spend their spare time reading about UFOs and speaking to other enthusiasts.
Graham talks animatedly about out-of-this-world beings.
He said: "I have been studying UFOs since the late 1960s when I joined the Surrey Investigation Group on Aerial Phenomena."
And although he does not believe every sighting and abduction story is true, he believes a core of them are very real.
He trusts the ex-US government, military and intelligence employees who are now coming forward to tell the public about their alleged extra-terrestrial work because he says they have nothing to gain from lying.
Graham said he is inspired by the evidence given by Sgt Clifford Stone, of the US Army, to a press conference in May as part of the Disclosure Project. The sergeant said he took part in the recovery of crashed alien craft and bodies as far back as 1969.
"He stated that they logged 57 different types of alien creatures including those that we now call the Greys - the most common type of alien connected with UFO abductions," said Graham.
The Ascot couple believe the authorities want to cover up the evidence because the aliens have a way of making power which would put an end to the grip of big oil and car companies on world politics.
